We celebrated my mother's birthday at Olympia for several years and were always very satisfied. Then we wanted to make an appointment for the Christmas holidays, and we were lucky with the second attempt. In October before the appointment, I wanted to find out whether everything would go well with the appointment. I would be told we didn't have an appointment. There was no apology or anything like that. That's why we didn't celebrate the next birthday at the Olympia. This year my mother wanted to go to the Olympics again. It had always worked out with the birthday. So she ordered. When we asked now, 3 days before the appointment, there was again no reservation. We have heard of similar experiences. I wonder what is happening there. The Olympia is known for its good quality and there is not much to choose from in Hoyerswerda. I would now assume that people choose their guests because of the great demand. Because so many booking errors can hardly happen. What a shame for us.

Ordered duck. Dumplings not through and lukewarm. Red cabbage from or from a preserve. Lax and cold. Sauce was a finished product. For more than 18 euros you want a different quality.

Excellent food in a pleasant atmosphere. One can confidently assume that the food in the "Olympia", which was opened in 1965 as a residential restaurant, is one of the best in and around Hoyerswerda.

Super nice service, fast service and delicious food. Fireplace room as a seperate well suited for small and medium family celebrations or company outings. Also suitable for children. Children have in the main room a play area and the staff is beautiful on the children. Our kids even got their own menu of pictures to color. The pens were also provided.

Very nice restaurant. Delicious food with duck in different variations as a specialty of the house. The beef roulades were very juicy, as was the loin. Chick nuggets had a kind of cornflake batter (inside juicy-tender, outside crunchy). Very child friendly with games corner in the local and play house outside. A playground is within walking distance and can be seen from the restaurant.
